We are using Comb Filters to tune our drums to the key of the song that we're working on. Comb Filters adds interest to our MIDI drums and helps them feel more connected to the music. Delays, a fantastic plug-in, is part of our Classic Bundle. It is available in RTAS, VST and TDM formats.
With delays you can control how your sound is repeated over time. You can control the amount of repeats as well as the length and distribution of the effect up to 3 seconds. The advantage of Delays over other delay plug-ins is the user interface which gives you visual feedback of your settings. The 2D controller lets you sculpt your delay settings in a unique way. Pitch Accum is a plug-in that is available in our Classic Bundle in RTAS, VST and TDM versions.
Pitch Accum has two independent and simultaneous pitch transposers and a modulation section that allows you to drastically transform your sound. In this tutorial we are using it to spread our guitar track and give them a little more depth. When used as a stereo effect in this way, a source broadening is heard as opposed to a pitch transpostion. This is a subtle musical application of Pitch Accum.
